Chronoswiss Chronoscope: A Masterwork Developed by Mr. Lang

In his Chronoscope collection, Mr. Lang, the founder of Chronoswiss pays tribute to the ground-breaking accomplishments of 19th-century watchmakers who dedicated their lives to developing split-second timekeepers. The Chronoscope is the first wristwatch with chronograph function and display on the untellable beautiful Regulateur face. For this first chronograph with regulator face, Chronoswiss has changed the plate of the movement so as to set the switching mechanism at the front. The 3 chronograph functions (start, stop and return to zero) are put in action through a button which is inbuilt in the crown, rather than by separate buttons.

This sophisticated mechanism is made up of 38 high quality parts. The automatic movement permits the Chronoscope to measure periods of time to one sixth-of-a-second precision.

The varnished face of the Chronoscope is a beautiful and harmonious masterpiece. The scale for the chronograph hand is divided into 360 moves. There is a separate sub dial at the 12 o'clock position for the hours and another sub dial at the 6 o'clock position for the minutes. The hands of the watch have been specially developed to be extremely slim and graceful, and they have reddish-blue hue to imitate the faces of 19th-century chronographs.

The 38mm case of the timekeeper is made up of 23 components and is waterproof up to 30 meters (98.42 feet). The sapphire crystal has antireflective protection on both sides to increase legibility. Chronoswiss has developed seventeen diverse versions of the Chronoscope—with cases made out of gold or stainless steel and faces of different colors and hues. All the Chronoscopes are hand-signed by Mr. Lang.
