Breguet Double Tourbillon and Zenith Grande Port-Royal Tourbillon

Breguet Double Tourbillon watch

One of the greatest watch companies Breguet continues to surprise its admirers. Distinguishing features of Breguet new watch models are severe monochromatic color spectrum and invariably high technical level. Black and white colors, white gold and platinum characterize the novelties of the oldest watch house. And among technical novelties there is a watch model made on basis of silicon and with patent double tourbillion.

Changes in the image of Breguet watches that have begun last year by launching a very untraditional Breguet timepiece - La Tradition, continues in a very intricate way: a model with double tourbillion was presented during Baselworld -2006.

Even the fact that in 2005 models with double tourbillions were presented by DeLaCour and Roger Dubuis brands, does not minimize the importance of this miracle appearance in the collection of such a prestigious brand.

It has a technical peculiarity that considerably distinguishes Breguet Double Tourbillion watch from others double-tourbillion watches. Due to it, silvered case disk makes a complete turn around the dial every 12 hours - of course together with tourbillions.

This fashion watch is made of platinum. The super complicated mechanism consists of 570 details. Breguet Double Tourbillon watches are launched just in several pieces and costs 300,000 Euros. Double Tourbillion watch model became a great addition to the collection of Classique Grande Complication watches.

Zenith Grande Port-Royal Tourbillon

new Zenith watchWhen talking about Zenith there should be mentioned the fact that it is one of the oldest watchmaking companies that produces its own mechanical movements even today. Ever since the company was founded it received numerous awards in the field of Chronometry. This fact made the brand not only well-known but also a brand that is highly appreciated for the precision of its timepieces.

One of the company's latest releases is entitled Grande port-royal tourbillon. This model has an automatic chronograph movement. The movement has a tourbillon. This beautiful creation has 298 parts and produces 36 thousands vibrations in an hour. Its power reserve has over fifty hours and certainly this marvelous timepiece would not be complete without the 35 jewels.

The watch has a heavy metal guilloché oscillating weight which is ornamented with a "ZENITH Damier" pattern.

The case of the watch is Black Titanium. It has a curved sapphire glass which on its both sides has an anti-reflection treatment. The back of the case is transparent.

Another important aspect of the watch is its 50 meters water resistance and its dial is made of white gold grill having 18 karats and being situated on a sapphire glass plate.
