Harry Winston Opus 6 - A Watch for Millionaires: to Be Continued

Harry Winston Opus 6

The Harry Winston Company continues to put into life its great project - to create a large collection of the Opus watch series. The world known jewellery house has collaborated with the greatest watchmakers to make the idea a reality. Every Opus model is ordered to a particular Swiss watchmaker and jeweler approximately two years before its presentation. It takes a lot of time to design the project of a new watch.

Not so long time ago the company created Opus 5 elaborated in collaboration with the famous watchmaker F. Baumgartner.

The company's Opus 6 is the result of the cooperative work performed by the Harry Winston jewellery House and Greubel Forsey's team of professionals. The design of the latest Opus 6 model is really amazing and seeing the watch once it is impossible to forget it.

Those who worked at Opus 6 inserted a double tourbillion into a new mechanism Emotion 30 Р’В°. Hours, minutes and seconds are displayed on three small discs at the top of the watch. The watchmakers made the tourbillion a decorative detail. The case is made of red gold, titanium, caoutchouc and sapphire crystal.

Everybody treats watch-skeletons in one's own way according to one's personal taste. But it is certainly impossible to hide respect for the perfect and harmonious construction. By creating skeleton watches the watchmakers have thrown down a challenge to themselves. And it is easy to explain: they have given everybody an opportunity to make sure that it is impossible to find even the lightest defect in their creations. It is true to say that such watches are out of fashion and even more - out of time.

If compared to watch companies with long-standing traditions, the Harry Winston's watch department is a rather new branch. However, the collection of Harry Winston Rare Timepieces enjoy an enormous success among rich customers.

And a great news for all Harry Winston watches' admirers - in April 2007 Harry Winston is going to bring joy to its clients displaying a new Opus 7 at Baselworld. The watch details are kept a secret but it is evident that the brand is going to introduce a very feminine mechanical watch with original characteristics.
